We sell books and various textile and homeware products with custom printed designs. Our books are printed in Croatia. All other products are printed on demand in various locations around the world, depending on your shipping address.
Our Return Policy
All our products, except books, are printed by a third-party print-on-demand service. We choose to work with Printful because of their unparalleled quality and reliability. Our return policy for these products is aligned with their terms of service and, for this reason, we don't offer returns or exchanges. However, if there's something wrong with your order, please let us know by contacting us at hello@croatiahonestly.com.
Books: Right of Withdrawal for EU Customers
Customers residing in the European Union who purchase books from our store have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without giving any reason.
Orders may be cancelled free of charge until they have been fulfilled and dispatched. Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. However, EU customers may still exercise their statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the books.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, EU customers must notify us of their decision by using the online withdrawal function available on our website or by contacting us directly at hello@croatiahonestly.com.
Customers with an account may submit cancellation requests for unfulfilled orders and withdrawal requests for delivered orders by logging into their customer account through our website. Alternatively, requests may be submitted by emailing us at hello@croatiahonestly.com.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the books to us. Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that all books are shipped from Croatia. International return shipping costs may be significant, and we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning books.
Returned books must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
Refunds will be processed only after the returned books have been received and inspected.
Customers are liable for any diminished value of the books resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and contents. Returned books must be sent back in their original condition. If returned books are received damaged, incomplete, or in a condition that prevents their resale as new, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount accordingly.
We are unable to issue refunds for returns that are lost in transit. For this reason, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns.
Our Refund Policy
Refunds are offered to customers who receive damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect items.
If any of these apply, please contact us at hello@croatiahonestly.com with photographs of the issue and we'll sort that out for you. Any claims for misprinted, damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product has been received.
For EU customers exercising their statutory right of withdrawal for books, refunds will be issued after the returned books have been received and inspected. The refund will include the purchase price of the books and the original standard shipping charge paid by the customer. Return shipping costs are not refundable.
Wrong Address
If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility (our warehouse in Croatia for books or Printful for everything else). You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).
If your package was lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
Exchanging Items for a Different Size/Color
We don't offer exchanges. If you're unsure which size would fit better, please check the sizing charts in the product description section.
Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that's the case, please let us know at hello@croatiahonestly.com within one week of receiving your order. Include your order number and photographs of the mislabeled item, and we'll send you a replacement or issue a refund.
Buyer's Remorse
Except where required by applicable law, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for buyer's remorse.
Please note that the statutory right of withdrawal described above applies only to books purchased by customers residing in the European Union.
We pride ourselves on creating high-quality products authored and designed in Croatia, and we thank you for supporting our small-scale artisan production.
