Hey friends, my name is Andrea Pisac and I am the founder of Croatia Honestly. In 2014, I came back from London, UK, where I finished a PhD in anthropology and worked at the University of London.

Croatia Honestly began as a blog where I wrote about Croatian culture, travel and food. Soon, it became the award-winning website for everyone who wanted to learn more about Croatian way of life.

My passion for writing, ethnographic explorations and food set me off on a journey of a lifetime. I gathered an incredible amount of authentic Croatian recipes and food stories.
